A Car Wash Soap (or ‘shampoo’) is a Cleaning Chemical engineered to clean your vehicle’s paint. Unlike Dish Soap, a proper Car Wash Soap has high Lubricity (slickness) to prevent scratches from your Wash Mitt. Select a pH-Neutral Soap like ADSO Wash Wax or 360 Optima Wash for weekly washes or a High-pH Soap to strip old waxes. This guide explains the difference.
Select your soap based on your goal: maintenance or stripping.
Purpose: Cleans and adds a minor, sacrificial layer of protection.
How it Works: This is a pH-Neutral Soap infused with Carnauba or synthetic polymers. It adds a "gloss-enhancing" layer, but this low-protection layer only lasts a few days.
Use This When: You want to boost gloss on an unprotected car as a temporary step.
Never use Dish Soap (like Dawn) for a car wash. Dish Soap is a household degreaser (a High-pH Soap) designed to strip all oils. It will strip your wax or sealant, dry out your plastic and rubber trim, and offers zero Lubricity, leading to wash scratches.
To prevent scratches, use the Two-Bucket Wash method.

Let me start off by saying I love all the products they car from Auto Detail to 360! I met Robert back in March when I started working for Wondries! I had used the 360 Brazilian mist before and I never knew he owed the place! I started talking to him more about other products they also carry. I completely switched over from chemical guys to Auto Detail and 360 ! That was the best decision I could have ever Made ! I highly recommend using them VERY FRIENDLY AND FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS !!!!
I loved this place! The girl who helped me behind the counter was very nice and very informative. She helped answer all of my questions. She even recommended a few things. I purchased a 150 gallon water tank and the boss (I assume he was the boss), was very helpful in helping me load it in the truck.
