This guide outlines the 4-step exterior car care process. Follow these steps sequentially to achieve a flawless, protected finish. Each step links to the professional supplies required.
The first step is to remove loose dirt, grime, and road film. Using a pH-neutral, high-foam soap with a microfiber wash mitt or foam cannon prevents scratching and safely cleans the surface without stripping existing waxes or sealants.
After washing, decontamination removes embedded contaminants that a normal wash cannot. This includes using an iron remover to dissolve brake dust and a clay bar or clay mitt to physically remove bonded tar, sap, and industrial fallout, leaving the paint perfectly smooth.
Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections, such as swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation. This is done with a polisher, a foam or microfiber pad, and specialized compounds (for heavy defects) or polishes (for fine swirls).
Once the paint is corrected, it must be protected. This final layer provides gloss, hydrophobic (water-beading) properties, and defends against UV rays and contamination. Ceramic coatings offer the most durable, long-term protection, while sealants and waxes offer simpler application.

Let me start off by saying I love all the products they car from Auto Detail to 360! I met Robert back in March when I started working for Wondries! I had used the 360 Brazilian mist before and I never knew he owed the place! I started talking to him more about other products they also carry. I completely switched over from chemical guys to Auto Detail and 360 ! That was the best decision I could have ever Made ! I highly recommend using them VERY FRIENDLY AND FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS !!!!
I loved this place! The girl who helped me behind the counter was very nice and very informative. She helped answer all of my questions. She even recommended a few things. I purchased a 150 gallon water tank and the boss (I assume he was the boss), was very helpful in helping me load it in the truck.
