Deionized Water (DI Water) is Filtered Water that has been stripped of all minerals, measuring 0 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). Use DI Water as your Final Rinse to guarantee a Spot-Free Rinse, as there are no minerals (like Calcium or Magnesium) left to dry on the paint. This guide explains how DI Tanks create DI Water from your Tap Water.
TDS is the measurement of all minerals and contaminants dissolved in your water.
Water Spots are the Mineral Deposits (primarily Calcium and Magnesium) left behind after Tap Water evaporates. The high TDS in Baldwin Park's Hard Water (which can be 200+ PPM) is the direct cause of Water Spots, which can etch into your paint.
Use a handheld Digital TDS Meter to check your water purity. Test your Tap Water to see the starting PPM. Test the water after it passes through your DI Tank to confirm it reads 0 TDS.
A DI Tank (or Deionizer) is a Water Filtration System that filters water using Ion Exchange Resin.
Pass your Tap Water through the DI Tank. The Resin beads (which are Mixed-Bed, containing Cation and Anion) attract and trap the TDS (minerals), releasing only pure Deionized Water (0 TDS).
The Resin is "exhausted" when it has absorbed all the minerals it can hold. Replace your Resin when your TDS Meter shows a reading above 10 PPM. Select a Color-changing Resin to visually monitor when it is exhausted.

Let me start off by saying I love all the products they car from Auto Detail to 360! I met Robert back in March when I started working for Wondries! I had used the 360 Brazilian mist before and I never knew he owed the place! I started talking to him more about other products they also carry. I completely switched over from chemical guys to Auto Detail and 360 ! That was the best decision I could have ever Made ! I highly recommend using them VERY FRIENDLY AND FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS !!!!
I loved this place! The girl who helped me behind the counter was very nice and very informative. She helped answer all of my questions. She even recommended a few things. I purchased a 150 gallon water tank and the boss (I assume he was the boss), was very helpful in helping me load it in the truck.
